The Power Of One | Globe Tatt Awards

One dab of concealer can hide hundreds of flaws.
One pat of blush can attract you thousands of men.
One tube of lipstick can last you through millions of kisses. (but please don’t try this with millions of men, I’ll lose respect for you) hahaha just kidding!! :)

I just watched Globe Telecom’s latest TVC and realized how one small thing can create such a big impact to millions of people.

Like how my best friend’s makeup set gift to me during my debut turned me into a makeup artist; how my one night of being grounded at home back in 2010 lead me to become bored and turned me into a blogger; how my one simple tweet touched other people’s lives and turned them into followers, readers and some, even turned into my friends. 

I’ve been a Globe subscriber since cellphones were as big as TV remote controls. Lol. I never thought of switching because I am happy with their service plus almost all of my friends and family are Globe users too. I’m also stubborn when it comes to switching phones. All my friends call me a cavewoman because I refuse to switch phones until I have to hit it hard to make it function. LOL. Most of the time my Nokia phones last me about 5-6 years!! :))

But since I because close to my friend’s geeky sister, Jen, she would always nag me to get a smart phone. I think I was still using the gold Nokia L’Amore phone back when we first met and she was like “WTF? How can you live with that thing!?” haha XD I guess because of geek pressure, I gave in and got a Blackberry. Globe’s social plan & data servie has really changed my life because it was easier for me to update followers, post reviews and build my social network while on the go.

Just last week, Jen laughed so hard because saw that I was gong crazy not just with my BB, but also a new iPhone4s on my other hand and I would Instagram every single dish I order when we go out. (and it’s annoying her like hell) I know I’m already late but hey, instead of switching phones in 6 years, I got a new one in less than a year. She transformed me from the Flintstones to the Jetsons! But I, on the other hand, turned her into a girly girl. She hated makeup, short dresses and heels but now she dresses, acts and talks like me. *evil Barbie laugh* :)) See how one person can change your life? :) You know, this actually reminds me of my favorite quote from One Tree Hill…..

I was supposed to leave early since I was tired from work that day but when I heard that Paul Chuapoco / The PR Guy was going to sing on stage for the Rockeoke, I had to stay and be a cheerleader/ fan/ friend. ;D

Good luck to all the finalists!! I’m still super sad I won’t be able to make it on Friday. Huhu. I heard that it will be star studded and there will be performances from the country’s top bands and singers. Friends, please enjoy the night for me!! ;__;
