Entice The Salon: A Makeover

Right before my Black Beauty Ambassador shoot, I was invited to get pampered at a newly opened salon called Entice The Salon by William Wong in Gold Loop/ Pearl drive near UA&P.

The place looks really modern and is very “homey” and comfy. I didn’t notice that I was there for over 8 hours because I felt so relaxed the whole time! (Obviously, who would mind the time when getting pampered, right?)

Verniece had her makeup done by their guest makeup artist from Singapore. Occassionally, the salon hires makeup artists abroad to hold seminars for their staff and do makeup for special people like V. Bongga! :)

She really looked like a doll after getting her hair and makeup done.

I on the other hand was ashamed to stand beside her because I looked so stressed and ungroomed. It was a really busy time for me so I wasn’t able to go to a single salon in over a month! :|

They started my makeover the other way around: from toes to my head. I love the girl who did my maniped!! She really did a clean job plus she gives great massages!! Angela (Lush Angel) also told me that she almost fell asleep during her back massage. Teehee. I hope they still have the name of the girl in my record. Wouldn’t want to try anyone else there!

Martha (Beauty Junkee) was having her hair colored while I had my nails done. I’m so amazed at their tools. Look at the steamer being used on her hair~ It’s not the traditional boring one that looks like an astronaut’s head. (For the lack of a better description) :D

Now, here’s the Master at work.. William Wong! The moment he touched my hair I knew that my hair was in good hands. I had lots of requests because I had a hair shoot the following day:

  1. Don’t cut too much but remove the dry parts.
  2. Remove the bad dye job (ugly bleach) found in between my hair without making it look short.
  3. Add volume.
He was able to do exactly as I requested. Instead of chopping off all of the dry parts, he cut from inside (hidden parts) so that my hair will still look long but with short strands hidden inside to give it more volume. I’ll probably just come back for him to finish the job and remove all the bleached parts.

After my haircut, his assistant did my hair. Don’t I look like a kontrabida (villain) in this photo? ;))

Here’s how it turned out! Back view first to add more suspense! :))

William uses Japanese techniques in hairstyling so he loosened the curls and used wax so they would look natural on me.

Here’s my BEFORE & AFTER:

From ex-convict to exquisite! CHOS. :))) This is one of the very few photos that I allowed myself to be taken without any product on so everyone can see the difference.

Here’s a closer look at what CHASTINE of Entice Salon did for my makeup. I love how they shaped my eyebrows and contoured my nose. I would definitely hire him if I had a photoshoot.

Thanks again, William Wong, for prettifying us! ‘Til our next visit!
