Bloggers United: A High Fashion Garage Sale
I’m probably the last of all bloggers to post an entry. Everyone else was so excited to share their experience at the Bloggers United Bazaar because it was such a HUGE success. *kudos to all the organizers & sellers* :>
Held on May 27, 2011, Malayan Plaza Hotel, Ortigas city. Manila’s top fashion bloggers, including the Gondo Girls (http://fb.com/gondogirls) were invited to partake in this special event. It gave us an opportunity to meet colleagues and of course, our beloved readers. <3 As expected, all the sellers were well-dressed and dolled up~ explains my “High Fashion Garage Sale” title. :)) Here are a few photos from my cam & some grabbed from other bloggers.

GG represent: Tricia, Doms, Me & Feanne were present the whole day. Val came in extra-early to set-up our booth. I wasn’t able to help because I err.. sorta overslept. I was too excited the night before that I hardly had any sleep! :| (Photo from http://triciawillgoplaces.tumblr.com)

Majority of the stuff on our table were clothes. I brought along my Catwalk Cosmetics palettes (http://fb.com/cwcosmetics) and a few hair extensions. Thanks to Raleene Cabrera for this photo. Someone needs to teach me how to turn the names into links. I’m a super noob/ dummy at internet stuff. ;_;

Ria Noche ~ First walk-in buyer of my palettes. I gave free eyeshadow makeup demos to random people that day. hee. :>

Finally met Deniece Liza ~ one of the winners of my Suesh & Lay Bare contests. She regularly comments/ tweets on my posts even when I was just a noobie in the internet so I super love her. So glad I was able to talk to her even for a short while.

Doms & Feanne goofing around w/ their Macbooks. Doms was so OC, she had to list down every item sold. Organized entrepreneur at heart!

On the second floor landing.. The Plump Pinays’ booth was the first one I spotted. (Photo above: Danah)

They were selling Plump Pinay merchandise like necklaces and shirts. So cute!! (Photo: Stacey)

Spotted: Earthling Rullan. I met her at a L’Oreal event last year. Nice to see you again, Earth! :)

The sweet girls from Sophie’s Mom gave all bloggers a taste of their ice cream mochi balls. I got cookie dough and it was yum-meh! The outer covering (glutinous rice) is usually tasteless but theirs were sweet~ which is a good thing for me because I love sweets! Will definitely contact them for future events.

My last stop on the second floor was the Close Up booth by the swimming pool. They had a photo booth and gave out a years supply of toothpaste and other Unilever products to the bloggers. *Rejoices* since I’m currently using this toothpaste. I’ll probably have pearly white teeth by the end of the year.

Uyyyy issue. Guess who? :>

With Ashley Ramos. One of the models I worked with at the Fashion Fever event. Which reminds me, I still haven’t posted an entry on that one! x_x

Spotted a group of ICAns. I didn’t even had to ask them which school they came from; I just knew. I’m an ICAn by heart. <3

Pleasant surprise: Bumped into our good friend, Brian Tenorio, Fashyown Extraordinaire. :3

Michelle Lin of Niche.ph also dropped by the GG booth. She also purchased Catwalk Palettes. I look weird in this photo. *awkward smile* We were flashing big smiles 90% of the time because foot traffic was really good and cameras were everywhere. o_o

Thanks for the Catwalk photo Mitzie! :>

I remember someone took a photo of our shoes during closing time. Found his site! (Photo by Jonverdavid)

We wrapped up at around 8:30pm. I couldn’t let the day end without having a photo with these lovely fashionistas! (L-R Camille Co, Kryz Uy, Laureen Uy, Me) Pardon the oily/eww face. Was in a rush to fix everything because our restaurant reservation was about to expire and most of us weren’t able to grab lunch. :s

Last, a photo with the sweet Patricia Prieto. Ohmygosh, we look like high school teeny boppers here!! :))

Photobooth photos grabbed from Doms. http://konichiwear.com
We were goofing around w/ the hair extensions. Hee.

Yeeeeee sweet naman us. 8-)

Again, we’d like to thank everyone who helped make this event possible. To all readers/walk-ins/attendees: Thank you for contributing to charity by simply attending. We were so overwhelmed by the foot traffic because there was never a dull moment throughout the whole day. Wish we could have taken photos with everyone. :3
To the organizers: Congratulations for a successful event. We’re all looking forward to ROUND 2 of Bloggers United. (Shai, Crissey, Val pliz to be present. You were missed!) THANK YOU 1000000x :3
*P.S. I finally made a LOOKBOOK account! http://lookbook.nu/marjsia ~Will post my Bloggers United look soon!

There’s a photo in the tumblr post that looks like a chain. Highlight the word/s you want people to click (even photos) and the nclick that icon and then a separate window will appear that’ll ask for the link url and that’s just it :>
