OOTD: Pretty in Pastel

One of my best girl friends from the US visited me last week and took me to their fondant cake factory because she knew about my fondness for sweets- especially cakes!

Faded denim dress LEVI’s
It was perfect timing because I’m at a low point in my life right now. A lot of things aren’t going right and I am a bit of an emotional wreck. But I’m sure no one sees it because I’m a master at concealing my emotions in public. The afternoon I spent in her factory (not to mention chomping and nabbing fondant cake toppers) really turned things around.

Gold ring YHANSY | H&M for Lanvin earrings from FROU FROU

Hard case hand bag/ satchel EVER NEW Melbourne
I took this bag to the counter the moment I saw it. Some clothes at Ever New may be hella expensive but all of their bags are very affordable. This is my 3rd one already in a span of a month!

Wedges MELISSA SHOES / GELEIA Mall of Asia
Don’t they look like they were made for me to wear together with my pastel bag?? Teehee. I immediately thought of an outfit post when I saw this at Geleia MOA. Melissa Shoes smell soooo nice! The scent gives me a nostalgic feeling; taking me back to my gradeschool days when scented stationaries were selling like hotcakes.

Although things have been chaotic in my life lately, I keep myself busy and try to stay away from things that will make me go insane. I need to make a confession though, I am currently addicted to “Heroine“…

.. Heroine lipstick by MAC Cosmetics, of course! I would never ever do drugs.. EVER! 8D This limited edition shade was from one of their summer collections. I was so sad that MAC Manila immediately got out of stock but I’m so happy a friend tracked it down for me abroad. I find myself applying lipstick even when I’m alone in my room!
*Hi, my name is Marj, and I am a MAC Heroine lipstick addict* :))
I hope MAC is already open at MOA by the time I go back. Most of the items in this post are from last week’s shopping spree. For now, don’t forget to enjoy the last 2 days of their end of season sale this weekend!

Fashion Roadtrip (For Shoe Lovers Only!)
Here’s the first from my long list of backlogs since I went on blogging hiatus a month ago— A Fashion Roadtrip with bloggers care of VNC, The Little Things She Needs and The Flat Shop.

I had lunch with my favorite bloggers (the usual suspects) at Cook Book Kitchen in Eastwood. That was the day after I got really sick from severe tonsillitis, hence my outfit, my favorite white “hospital cardigan” as my mom would call it. Good thing I forced myself to get well for this event because it was the most unique one I have ever attended!

Cutie Atchie Sarah with yummy red velvet cake. Just found out we both came from the same high school! YEY! So here’s our first stop…

VNC! I’m sure everyone’s familiar with this brand already. I love the hot pink bag!!

Here are my top picks from the collection:

Can’t say no to ribbon!

Pumps will always be my favorite shoe style.

Isn’t it obvious, I’m obsessed with pink stuff? :p

Lucky girls who got to take home VNC products! :)

Next stop, The Little Things She Needs! I rarely go to the old mall of Eastwood since I only go there to dine nowadays so I’ve only been to TLTSN twice. They have a wide variety of shoes and accessories. I recommend it to those who have a cutesy, dainty fashion style.

I had a hard time to choose which pair to take home because there were so many cute shoes but I decided to go with this elegant navy blue stiletto.

After strolling around Eastwood, there was a coaster waiting to transfer us to The Flat Shop in Greenhills. It was so funny because I felt like I was in grade school again. We still had field trips back then because there were no terrorist threats back then. Our school banned field trips after the mall bombings back in the 90’s. :( Do schools still have field trips nowadays??

We had a crazy Q&A segment on the way to Greenhills.

We were welcomed by The Flat Shop staff with a flower necklace aka a “Lei” and mango shake to make it feel like we’ve been transported to a new island. XD

The Flat Shop carries various brands like TKEES - as seen on a lot of Hollywood celebs.

Girl 2 Doors Down - Flip flops fit for a bling queen.

It also has crazy statements printed on the slippers itself! I bet my best friend would say this one suits me best. Lol.

They also have Melissa shoes, one of my favorite brands when it comes to flats. I’m so addicted to the scent of their shoes. I try to preserve mine so I always store it well after every use! haha!

Flexflops — perfect for travel because the slippers are foldable and they’re perfect for the hotel!

Me & atchie Rowena. She’s one of the few bloggers that I became sort of close with when I was just starting. I love her to bits!! <3

Aisa & Anna goofing off. I love these two ladies, they always make me laugh!

Last photo before we ended the day!. Hope here will be another Fashion Roadtrip.. To another province, perhaps? XD Before I forget, here’s what i got from The Flat Shop:

Girl 2 Doors Down Black Platform Sandal with studs and crystal. Wore this to Bloggers United 3 when my feet got tired of wearing heels. A lot of people asked me where I got it! :D

I’m not 100% sure but this looks Zirconian! What do you think?

Pink Flexflop slippers! Will bring this with me to my Guam, Bangkok and Hong Kong trip in the next 3 months.
Thank you again to VNC, The Little Things She Needs & The Flat Shop team for this wonderful experience. Hands down, this is the most unique intimate event I have ever had out of all the blogger events I’ve attended. Sorry for the late post, had to take some time off but now I’m baaack! :)
