Shopping LVL: ASIAN (Not a 9gag post)
What do you usually wear when you’re going shopping? Normally, I like to be in my “lazy attire” and when I say lazy I mean pambahay (house) clothes and flip flops because I get so stressed about the thought of carrying huge shopping bags and walking around the mall all dressed up with my usual 5-inch stiletto pumps.
But last week, Vern, Patrish, Danah and I were convinced to shop in style at The Mall of Asia. The photo above looks like we’re about to enter a club or a cocktail party because we were all in heels!

I hate my big arms so I’m really fond of sheer cover ups so I don’t have to worry when our bipolar weather suddenly becomes warm.
Layered 2 bib necklaces from SM Accessories. I swear, their stuff are so classy but inexpensive. I rarely find myself shopping for accessories at Hong Kong anymore since I discovered how much they have leveled up their designs!
YSL Tribute-insipred shoes from Parisian. Got these during the Bloggers’ Pictorial party. Every time I wear it out, my friends ask me how much I got them for. They assume that it’s from some expensive brand. :> We walked around the whole mall from 1pm to 6pm and my feet were still alive!!!
While we were strolling around, I got separated from the girls because I checked out the sale stuff at The Body Shop. You’ll see why I got distracted when I post the sale items tomorrow!
Good thing I bumped into David Guison and dragged him to our flock. Teehee.

Here’s the BIG secret on how you can also shop in style at The Mall of Asia… Request for a personal package pickup!!!! It really saved my feet because all those heavy bags would have made it harder for me to shop! And the best part is, this service is FREE OF CHARGE! Just request for one at the concierge! :)
After a long day of shopping, the girls and I (plus David) went to Lugang Cafe for our super late lunch/ early dinner. I gotta admit, their xiao long bao is by far the BEST in Manila!
Everyone was busy tweeting/ instagraming/ Facebook-ing while waiting for our orders.

A few days ago, I was called to shoot for *something* for SM Mall Of Asia. I thought that I was dreaming at first and even during the shoot day everything seemed so surreal! I’m very thankful for all the blessings coming my way. So far this is the biggest one yet. <3

With one of the loveliest and soft-spoken bloggers I have ever met, Vern Enciso. It was my first time to do makeup on her that day. She’s sooo pretty! She can get away without any makeup during shoots! <3
Cougar alert!!! Everyone was calling me Samantha Jones from Sex And The City when I came out of the dressing room in this outfit. Hmm, I wonder why?? :>
Mark Ang (Photographer) placed a small pedestal on the studio. I was a bit confused until I realized they tricked me into doing a super serious sophisticated (or maybe seductive?) layout. I only ended up laughing a lot because that’s not me at all! I’m always happy, chatty and bubbly!
This was the most sophisticated taray pose that I could do. I need Zoolander powers!! I got so used to shooting myself in front of the mirror that I don’t know how to pose for shoots like these anymore. Haha!
SEX & THE CITY GIRLS!!! Patrish as Carrie, Vern as Charlotte, Me as Samantha & Danah as Miranda. I just realized if Danah had red hair, she’d be perfect! Where’s Stacy (her red head twin) when you need her!? ;D
We had so much fun during the shoot. We kept cracking jokes and I kept saying pickup lines to give ourselves a big laugh in front of the camera.
