Shopping LVL: ASIAN (Not a 9gag post)
What do you usually wear when you’re going shopping? Normally, I like to be in my “lazy attire” and when I say lazy I mean pambahay (house) clothes and flip flops because I get so stressed about the thought of carrying huge shopping bags and walking around the mall all dressed up with my usual 5-inch stiletto pumps.
But last week, Vern, Patrish, Danah and I were convinced to shop in style at The Mall of Asia. The photo above looks like we’re about to enter a club or a cocktail party because we were all in heels!

I hate my big arms so I’m really fond of sheer cover ups so I don’t have to worry when our bipolar weather suddenly becomes warm.
Layered 2 bib necklaces from SM Accessories. I swear, their stuff are so classy but inexpensive. I rarely find myself shopping for accessories at Hong Kong anymore since I discovered how much they have leveled up their designs!
YSL Tribute-insipred shoes from Parisian. Got these during the Bloggers’ Pictorial party. Every time I wear it out, my friends ask me how much I got them for. They assume that it’s from some expensive brand. :> We walked around the whole mall from 1pm to 6pm and my feet were still alive!!!
While we were strolling around, I got separated from the girls because I checked out the sale stuff at The Body Shop. You’ll see why I got distracted when I post the sale items tomorrow!
Good thing I bumped into David Guison and dragged him to our flock. Teehee.

It really saved my feet because all those heavy bags would have made it harder for me to shop! And the best part is, this service is FREE OF CHARGE! Just request for one at the concierge! :)
After a long day of shopping, the girls and I (plus David) went to Lugang Cafe for our super late lunch/ early dinner. I gotta admit, their xiao long bao is by far the BEST in Manila!
Everyone was busy tweeting/ instagraming/ Facebook-ing while waiting for our orders.

I arrived at the Rockwell tent in this outfit for the Clear Dream Match press event. I swear, I had no idea that the color motif was the exact blue shade that I was wearing.

Wore my favorite pair of platform stilettos from CMG Philippines.
They’re 5 inches high but are really comfy to walk in. I shopped around Rockwell after the event and my feet didn’t hurt at all. I wish someone had warned me that there would be physical activities at the event though. Because we were greeted by this when we got there……
A Clear soccer challenge/ game by KINECT XBOX 360 @___@
The objective of the game was to bounce the virtual ball on your head and keep it in the air. The higher you bounce it, the more points you get. The arrow serves as a guide but sometimes the ball will fall down really fast. That’s how I died. haha! Here’s atchie Rowy giving it a shot!
Some guys couldn’t get to 500 but I did on my very first try! Believe it or not, I used to be a hardcore gamer!! XD Check out my calf muscles coming out because of my 5 inch heels. I was kinda afraid that I might get injured because I was making mini strides to the left and right. I reached around 900 before I gave up. I am a competitive woman, hear me roar. *o*
Now, off to the event proper….
The Rockwell tent was transformed into a mini soccer field!

CLEAR gathered 58 of the hottest (literally, physically & ability-wise) soccer players and celebrities in Manila to form the Clear Dream Match. Their fate in this league is in the hands of their fans because only 40 players will be drafted into 2 teams. So if you want your favorite soccer player or celebrity cutie to participate at the Dream Match on August 25, you’d better hurry and cast your votes HERE.
Each team will be headed by one of the Younghusband brothers.

I was so star struck when Paolo Bediones approached me at the end of the event. Turns out, my super good friend from high school, Essy, told him about me.

I went home with a Nike Shoe Bag & a mini football signed by the Younghusbands for having one of the highest scores in the Kinect Clear soccer challenge. But you know what my real prizes were??

Cougar on the Prowl | I’m Shoe in Love!
Everyone knows that there’s one animal print I can never resist whether it’s on a bag, shoe, dress or scarf, I’ve got to have it in my closet! My leopard obsession started last year and my friends have been calling me the “cougar queen” ever since then.
When we went to Borough last week, they said that I look like a cougar on the prowl (hence, the title) because I was dressed so maturely but still had leopard prints on my shoes.
Flaunted my new baby~ PRADA 1336. I fell in love with this bag during my trip to Milan last January but it was out of stock so I bugged my friends to buy it for me. XD I promise you, this bag is a GREAT buy so if you love luxury bags, this is a great addition to your collection.
