Raid my closet this weekend!!!
The Bloggers United team will be at the Supersale Bazaar this weekend, July 13-15 from 10am-9pm at The World Trade Center. I *might* be there until Saturday only though because of a family gathering so I hope you can drop by today or tomorrow!
It’s Friday the 13th today but you can get lucky by going to my booth reaaally early because I will be selling loads of discounted stuff that I bought impulsively. For example, last I’m Shoe In Love, I hoarded TONS of IPANEMA flip flops because they were around P300 only @ 60% off but to my dismay, some didn’t fit my mom and sister’s feet! Boo. So I’ll be selling them at the SAME CRAZY PRICES I got them. :D And as usual, there will be a rack full of Forever 21, H&M, The Ramp, etc. clothes!
Catwalk Cosmetics products will also be there. Since July is sale season, a lot of products are MARKED DOWN for clearance! So please, do drop by because this is our last bazaar before Christmas season!! Hope to see you there!! :>
BTS: SM Mall Of Asia - End Of Season Sale!
A few days ago, I was called to shoot for *something* for SM Mall Of Asia. I thought that I was dreaming at first and even during the shoot day everything seemed so surreal! I’m very thankful for all the blessings coming my way. So far this is the biggest one yet. <3

With one of the loveliest and soft-spoken bloggers I have ever met, Vern Enciso. It was my first time to do makeup on her that day. She’s sooo pretty! She can get away without any makeup during shoots! <3
Cougar alert!!! Everyone was calling me Samantha Jones from Sex And The City when I came out of the dressing room in this outfit. Hmm, I wonder why?? :>
Mark Ang (Photographer) placed a small pedestal on the studio. I was a bit confused until I realized they tricked me into doing a super serious sophisticated (or maybe seductive?) layout. I only ended up laughing a lot because that’s not me at all! I’m always happy, chatty and bubbly!
This was the most sophisticated taray pose that I could do. I need Zoolander powers!! I got so used to shooting myself in front of the mirror that I don’t know how to pose for shoots like these anymore. Haha!
SEX & THE CITY GIRLS!!! Patrish as Carrie, Vern as Charlotte, Me as Samantha & Danah as Miranda. I just realized if Danah had red hair, she’d be perfect! Where’s Stacy (her red head twin) when you need her!? ;D
We had so much fun during the shoot. We kept cracking jokes and I kept saying pickup lines to give ourselves a big laugh in front of the camera.

Fashyown destinations this weekend (Aug 19-21)
My FAVORITE clothing retailer is once again on sale. The deals get crazier every time!
I spent my whole Friday (thanks to QC day = no work) at Forever 21 Makati with mom. We arrived as early as 9am and people were already going wild inside. I think the store hours start at 10am but with the BDO Forever 21 Mastercard, you get exclusive perks, sneak previews and early-access to sales like this one. You also get additional discounts on top of your discounted items with a minimum purchase of P5k OR a 5% rebate if you use any BDO credit card.
Did I splurge? I got around 23 items (tops, dresses and 2 accessories) and guess how much I spent??? LESS than P7,500 only!! That’s an average of P320 per item. This totally made up for my bad experience at the recent Hong Kong sale. Definitely worth getting up at 7am on a holiday! My mom was also raving about the prices and joined the other crazy shoppers as they hunt for great deals. So glad I was able to convince her to shop at F21 with me because she thought that the designs were all “teeny-boppy”. She went on one condition: “Don’t tell anyone I am Forever 51” haha corny XD

My Etude House Grand Sale *Haul*
Went to Etude House last Thursday with Tricia and Doms to check out their crazy Grand Sale. (Everything at 20% off)
I posted this photo at Twitter as soon as I got home. A lot of people were asking for the exact items I got so I decided to take a more organized, clutter-free photo.
*ta-dah* I removed the doubles and some freebies to avoid confusion.
Out of curiosity, I got the Goodbye Pore Ever pore primer essence. Val and I got all excited when we got a sneak peek of it at Etude House Megamall’s Grand Opening. I think I will find this useful since I get so OC about imperfections like visible pores after putting on makeup.
I’m not a big fan of lotions since I already have an extra-long facial care routine but their Hand Bouquet Rich Collagen Hand Cream smells so good! I hope it can help improve my *forever-dry* finger tips.
Since my L’Oreal Elseve hair serum is almost out, I got their Hologram Hair Serum. It was my first time to test it and I like how it instantly gave my hair life. They also had an anti-frizz serum which came in a smaller bottle but I think this is enough to tame my locks since my hair is behaved most of the time. *u*
I already got the powder blue Petit Bijou all-over spray but my friend recommended this variant too. It has a floral + powdery scent. Tricia also got one!
Here’s the highlight of my Etude House haul.. Their latest collection, ALOHA! :D
I love, love, love their Ice Sherbet Primer since it comes in a pressurized tin can so you can spray it all over your face instead of squeezing it out of a container. Its effect is very moisturizing. Perfect for those who have dry skin.
I got the Aloha two-two kiss as a pasalubong/gift from Korea. I was kind of disappointed when I saw it IRL because it wasn’t retractable but the sales attendant in Etude House taught me that they can be sharpened. Hurray! The red tip serves as the tint/color while the yellow one is the gloss.
My favorite out of all the Aloha products that I got would be the Bronze Skin Maker Set. It’s like a liquid foundation/ BB cream set that comes in 2 shades. One for the base (light/skin tone) and the other is the dark brown bronzer so you can mix them together to come up with darker shades. I must admit, ever since I got my tan, I had a hard time finding the perfect BB cream since Korean skin is lighter than Pinays’ so I’m really glad they came up with this!
Lippies overload!!
I got the Follow Me tint (left) in two shades: Tangerine & Pink. These are ‘mood lipsticks’ which changes color as soon as you apply it on your lips. Even a sheer amount will make your lips look kissable right away. The blue one turns pink while the Miss Tangerine one turns peach. Did I mention, the flavors are good enough to eat too! :s
The Miss Tangerine Soda tint (middle) is something I’ve been curious about since the first time I saw it on display. It consists of oil + tint and you have to shake it in order for it to mix together. I highly recommend this product for those who have been victims of “lipstick on front teeth” boo-boos. It settles on your lips so you won’t have to worry about stains and re-touching after every hour.
LUCIDarling Fantastic rouge lipstick #5 (lavender) + Color Me Nude Lip Concealer (right) Ever since I got my MAC Spitfire lipstick, I’ve been addicted to plum/purple shades of lipstick so I got the lavender shade from LUCIDarling. In order to make it look more “popped out”, I got the Color Me Nude lip concealer so I can totally erase the color of my lips and make lighter shades of lipstick stand out.
Last but not the least, I hoarded tons of facial wash! I think these will last me for the next 6 months. (From Left to Right) Happy Tea Time Green Tea, Baking Powder Cleansing Foam, Black Head Cleansing Foam, Cleansing Dream & Vita Foam.
I am currently using Happy Tea Time (HTT) as my daily facial wash. It will leave your face squeaky clean! I haven’t tried the Baking Powder & Cleansing Dream yet. I hope they’re more impressive than HTT since they’re almost twice the price. The Black Head Cleansing Foam is actually my recommendation for a friend since she wants to get rid of her boyfriend’s blackheads. *lols*
I was able to try the Good Night Vita Foam right before posting it. I like how it completely cleans your face but doesn’t leave it dry. The scent is mild and soothing because I love the smell of blackberries. It’s good for those who travel a lot since it’s very small and handy. I think I will get attached to it just like HTT Green Tea.
