I was invited by ZEN Health Magazine to contribute a beauty article for their May - July 2012 issue. It was my first time to actually write for a publication so I was worried about how it would turn out. I was feeling inspired last summer so I think I did a pretty good job. “MAKEUP Your Mind”

Natural makeup will never go out of style. This look is very versatile- it can be worn during the day or night time. Stick with earth or rose tones for the eyes, cheeks and lips. Tony Moly Spa Escape
Tony Moly (TM) invited bloggers and media friends to a maniped and facial session at The Suriya Spa so that we can try out their latest nail and face products.
TM Party Lover Nail Polish Remover and TM Nail Polishes.
They recommended their latest Galaxy nail polish which were really nice and blingy but I was afraid to use them on my poor tiny nails so I took home this GT03 shade for my mom instead since she’s blessed with perfect long nails.
Typed my Royal Effem Makeup review while having my nails done. Couldn’t let my back logs pile up even more!
After my maniped, I was given the choice to have a facial using one of their latest products: The Oriental Gyeol line or…
..The Timeless EGF Power Creams. Angel of TM recommended the latter so I went with her selection.
The therapist removed my makeup with TM’s Grapefruit cleansing oil gel and Floria all-in-one cleansing oil tissue. The grapefruit gel smells so good!
After cleansing my face, she applied some Intense Care Snail Skin toner. It was intense alright! My face felt a burning sensation but the Live Snail Hydro-gel Mask immediately soothed it. Guess I have to be careful when trying out toners next time.
The Intense Repair Live Snail Hydro-gel Mask was left on for about 20 minutes. At home, I usually leave it on for a longer time because there’s no harm in moisturizing your face. (not unless you have sensitive or oily skin)
After discarding the mask, the various Timeless EGF Power creams were applied on my face. It felt like a collagen treatment but even better because of the additional effects aside from moisturization.
EGF means Epidermal Growth Factor. This variant promotes epidermal cell regeneration, skin resilience, wrinkle improvement, skin hydration, protection and skin whitening. I can’t get over the Power Eye Cream because my tired eyes felt really smooth and relaxed the whole night at the Tatt Awards. (I went there right after this event)
Ended the day with a short chit chat with blogger friends Tracy and Carizza. Tracy noticed that I have no eye bags at all despite having no makeup on. Yes girls, my secret is layering on eye creams before I go to sleep!
I got to take home 3 face masks. I always store them in the chiller so they’re cold when I use them. The perfect weapon to fight the crazy heat wave this summer.
I was hoping to get a sample of the EGF Eye Cream but this will do! The Oriental Gyeol Eye Cream also corrects the lines, wrinkles and dark areas around the eyes.
As a bonus, I also got this super pretty Backstage Wonder Style Box eye and cheek makeup. Watch out for an LOTD post using this makeup!

TONY MOLY: Tomato Love ♡
Did you know? Tomatoes can make your skin whiter because it is equipped with vitamins C & E, amino acids and Lycopene~ which is a very powerful antioxidant. I’ve tried rubbing fresh tomatoes on my skin and it felt a bit ‘icky and awkward’ because I’m used to cooking or eating them so when I got the TOMATOX Magic White Massage Pack from Tony Moly, I bid goodbye to rubbing fresh veggies on my face!
The TOMATOX massage pack is a white cream mask; somewhat similar to lotion but with a thicker consistency. It comes with a small spatula so you can scoop it out without using your fingers to maintain the freshness of the product. (Yes, treat it like a real tomato!)
After massaging, leave it on for around 15-20 minutes before washing it off. My face felt squeaky clean and looked whiter after using this! I recommend Tomatox to BOTH men & women with combination to oily skin. I’ll post a photo of myself with the mask on if I get 100,000,000 reblogs for this entry. Juuust kidding!! :))
While waiting for the mask to take effect on my face, I used Tony Moly’s NE02 nail polish. Its color is almost exactly the same as the Tomatox case, which I find very rare because the shade is a mix of red and neon orange. Just like tomatoes, this shade can also make your hands appear whiter because the red-orange polishes will make your nails stand out.
